WHAT WE DO

We are set up to provide our customers with end-to-end support in the process of developing software solutions:

• Business need analysis, design of functional and non-functional requirements, system analysis, support for business transformation and IT/business consultancy;
• User interface and experience design and development for mobile and desktop applications;
• Front and back-end development in a wide range of technologies: Java, .NET, Ruby, GoLang, Oracle, Python.
• Complete Data Warehouse solutions from architecture, design and implementation using mainly Vertica, Oracle and Microsoft platforms.
• Avalanche has been the central counterparty for multiple major banking projects in the Scandinavia and Baltics, in areas such as lending automation, regulatory reporting and calculations, integrations, governance, risk and compliance, Basel II/III, Stress Testing, AML/KYC.

We're hiring a Senior SharePoint Online Software Engineer for our key enterprise banking client in the Baltics. The mission is very specific: build and improve a SharePoint Online-based Document Management platform that supports the full document lifecycle - generation, capturing, archiving, and signing.

You'll join a pan-Baltic delivery team working in an agile setup, partnering closely with Business Analysts, Product Owner, Tech Lead, and external suppliers to keep the platform reliable, secure, and scalable.

DO YOU HAVE...

🚀 SharePoint Online document management engineering - 4+ years

Hands-on experience building document management sites on SharePoint Online (not just maintenance or content admin work).

🚀 System implementation & maintenance - 5+ years

Implementing and maintaining modern document management, generation, archiving, and signing solutions.

🚀 Agile delivery experience - 3+ years

Working with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders in an agile environment.

🚀 Technical documentation - 3+ years

Creating and maintaining technical documentation that others can actually use.

🚀 Regulated industry exposure - 2+ years (banking/finance strongly preferred)

You're comfortable building solutions where standards, controls, and audits matter.

🚀 Fluent English (spoken & written)

NICE TO HAVE...

✨ Apache Camel integration services - 2+ years (huge plus)

If you've implemented integration services using Apache Camel, you'll stand out immediately.AWS services - 1-3+ years (nice to have)

Especially:

• Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3)
• Amazon OpenSearch Service

✨ Modern programming languages - 3+ years

• Java, Python, or similar.

✨ Git + CI/CD pipelines - 3+ years

Using version control (Git) and implementing Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipelines.
