Electronics Hardware Engineer (m/f/d)

€70-75.000 salary

Hybrid working model (office in Hamburg)

Looking to hire an experienced engineer to strengthen their product development capabilities. The organisation builds precision measurement instruments and is expanding its capability in electronics design, embedded systems and mechatronic integration.

Electronics Engineer role:

You will take ownership of electronic hardware design for advanced instrumentation. Your work spans circuit development, PCB layout, prototype validation, and support through transfer to manufacturing. You will operate inside a multidisciplinary team, working closely with mechanical design, software engineering, production and technical procurement to ensure robust, manufacturable system components.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop electronic circuit designs and PCB layouts for complex measurement devices and validate performance through structured component testing.

• Drive development cycles from concept through prototypes to series-ready designs, maintaining quality and compliance through formal design reviews.

• Convert functional and system-level requirements into practical hardware concepts within cross-functional engineering teams.

• Prepare designs for scalable, cost-efficient production and support industrialisation and supplier alignment.

Electronics Engineer Requirements:

• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, microelectronics, microprocessor technology, communications engineering or similar.

• Several years’ experience in PCB design and electronics development, including EMC-compliant circuit design.

• Competence in embedded programming for microcontrollers such as STM32 using C/C++.

• Strong understanding of electronic interfaces and hardware-related software.

• Independent, structured, analytical working style.

• Fluent German and solid English.

• Proficiency with Altium Designer, Git, Python, C#, C/C++, and standard office tools.

What's on offer?

• Flexible working-time models, time tracking, and options for mobile work.
