🚀 Senior Python Engineer – Visual Analytics Platform
📍 Remote (anywhere in Lithuania)
⏳ 6-month rolling contract
💶 Up to €50/hour
We’re partnering with a leading systematic investment manager to build a next-generation visual analytics and diagnostics platform for a new multi-asset trading system. This platform will replace a legacy charting tool with a modern, federated, self-service solution used by quants, researchers, engineers, and operations teams.
The role
You’ll play a key role in architecting and building a Python-first analytics platform, designed to let users create rich, interactive dashboards without deep frontend expertise.
The platform is built using:
- Python (Reflex) as the primary development interface
- React.js under the hood, via shared design system components
- Highcharts for core visualisation
- Deployed internally onto a proprietary trading platform
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the architecture and technical design of the analytics platform
- Design and implement a Python-first visualisation and dashboard API
- Build scalable Reflex wrappers around React components
- Deliver core platform features: navigation, search, layouts, comparison views, permissions, and workspace integration
- Define and implement CI/CD, testing, and performance strategies
- Work closely with Quant Platform and Developer Platform teams
- Support other engineers and ensure knowledge transfer to internal teams
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience with Python in production systems
- Experience building data-heavy or analytics platforms
- Comfort designing scalable, testable systems
- Bonus: experience in trading, quant, or financial analytics environments
Why this role?
- High-impact work on a core trading analytics platform
- Modern tech stack with real architectural ownership
- Long-term potential via a rolling contract
- Fully remote from anywhere in Lithuania
