- Network Security Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, optimizing, and implementing the network system focus on enhancing the security of the managed networks.
- Proactively identifying and mitigating potential threats, ensuring the robustness and resilience of the network against attacks.
- Involved in conducting thorough audits of the network security systems, ensuring compliance with the latest security standards and best practices.
- Review, configure, and maintain all network security systems and associated software.
- Assists in the selection of appropriate controls, control objectives, and activities to achieve and improve security posture.
- Implement security configuration changes and apply security fixes and patches timely manner
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the security of the network systems.
- Work with the IT leadership team to execute strategies and plans to improve network security and address identified risks.
- Ensure that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate network security controls and finetuning configuration.
- Document the configuration of all network security systems and ensure that all documentation is updated to reflect any changes.
- Deliver the Vulnerability scan based on the schedule and communicate risk and impact to the leadership team and customers.
- Design, maintain, and execute vulnerability testing processes and security breach mitigation tactics.
