Job Title: Senior Data Analyst
Reports To: Chief Strategy Officer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to lead marketing and advertising analytics team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong mix of strategic vision and hands-on technical expertise. The Senior Data Analyst will drive strategic decision-making by developing business intelligence tools, designing data models, and conducting advanced analytics to enhance marketing strategies and e-commerce operations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Intelligence & Analytics:
- Lead the creation of self-service BI tools for comprehensive data exploration and analysis.
- Conduct advanced data analysis for customer segmentation and personalized marketing initiatives.
Data Architecture:
- Design and maintain robust data models and warehouses to enhance reporting efficiency and insights.
- Develop and implement ETL processes, ensuring seamless integration with diverse back-end systems and APIs.
Digital Marketing Analytics:
- Develop data-driven marketing strategies, leveraging tools such as Google Analytics, e-commerce backends, and Mobile Measurement Platforms (MMPs).
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), employing advanced tracking methods across digital channels.
- Ensure accurate mobile app analytics and resolve attribution issues with MMP partners.
Performance Optimization:
- Conduct in-depth analyses using segmentation, cohort analysis, and statistical methods to refine marketing strategies.
- Execute rigorous A/B and multivariate tests to improve campaign and website performance.
- Perform comprehensive funnel analysis and user journey mapping to optimize the customer experience.
Visualization & Reporting:
- Develop automated and interactive dashboards and reports for real-time insights.
- Communicate findings through advanced data visualization techniques to inform strategic decisions.
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the analytics team.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement and validate tracking codes and ensure data accuracy.
Qualifications
Experience:
- At least 5 years in data analytics, with a minimum of 3 years in marketing and e-commerce analytics.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, R (rstats), DAX, and advanced SQL.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and BI tool development.
- Solid understanding of mobile app analytics, tracking, and attribution methods.
Analytical Skills:
- Proven ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, MMPs, and e-commerce platforms.
Education:
- Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Leadership skills to mentor and guide technical teams.
- Passion for staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in data analytics and digital marketing.
