Software Engineer

C/C++ Engineer | Delft (On-site/Hybrid)

We’re working with a Med-tech company based in Delft that is expanding its engineering team and looking for a C/C++ Engineer to work on performance-critical systems.

This role sits close to the hardware and involves building reliable, efficient software used in real-world applications.

What you’ll work on

• Developing and maintaining C/C++ code for low-level or embedded systems
• Working on performance-critical and real-time components
• Collaborating closely with hardware and systems engineers
• Debugging, optimizing, and improving system reliability

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in C and/or C++
• Background in embedded systems, systems programming, robotics, or similar
• Experience with Linux, RTOS, or microcontrollers is a plus
• Comfortable working close to hardware
• Based in or able to commute to Delft (hybrid/on-site)

Nice to have

• Embedded Linux or driver development
• ARM-based systems
• Robotics, control systems, or IoT experience
