For one of our giant client based in Amsterdam we are looking for a Senior Android developer.

36 hours

2 - 3 year project

Hybrid (1-2 days per week onsite)

The project and the responsibilities:

As an Android Developer, you are responsible for implementing the core functionalities , ensuring that all the libraries are kept up to date, and adopting new technologies and methodologies that can benefit the app, other teams, and users.

• Developing and managing shared libraries and frameworks that can be used to build features efficiently.
• Research and innovation.
• Contributing to Guild work.

New work to be done:

• Migrating Customer Onboarding modules to Compose for reusability.
• Improving feature modules API and dependency injection.
• Creation of robust error handling mechanism.
• Implementing new tracking to measure conversion.

Skillset:

• At least 8 years’ experience as a developer in Android.
• Proficiency in Kotlin.
• Deep expertise in modular architecture.
• Comprehensive testing practices.
• Innovation and adaptability.
• Jetpack Compose

Nice to haves:

• Coaching capabilities.
• Experience with Firebase products.
• Experience with Koin.
• Experience with CI/CD.

Interview process:

• One technical interview (60 min Teams chat) and one softs skills (20 mins)
