We are an Audio-As-A-Service, API-first Infrastructure company with the aim of democratising the way audio is produced globally. We use Artificial Intelligence and proprietary Audio Automation & Personalisation Technology to generate voices & audio at scale.

The Role

We're seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead development of our next-generation audio interfaces using Next.js, Chakra UI, and modern JavaScript patterns.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build sophisticated frontend applications using Next.js and Chakra UI
  • Lead frontend architecture decisions and implementation
  • Design responsive, accessible interfaces using Chakra UI's component system
  • Optimize application performance and SEO using Next.js features
  • Guide best practices in JavaScript development and testing

Technical Stack

Frontend Focus:

  • Next.js for application framework
  • Chakra UI for component library and design system
  • Modern JavaScript/TypeScript
  • React for component development
  • State management with React Query/SWR
  • Jest and React Testing Library

Supporting Technologies:

  • FastAPI and NodeJS backends
  • Docker for containerization
  • AWS EC2 and Netlify for deployment
  • Integration with Python-based AI/ML systems


Requirements

Required Skills

  • Expert-level Next.js and React experience
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
  • Experience with Chakra UI or similar component libraries
  • Understanding of frontend performance optimization
  • Experience leading frontend teams
  • API integration expertise


Desired Skills

  • WebGL/Three.js experience
  • Audio/video processing knowledge
  • Experience with real-time data applications
  • Open-source contributions
  • Understanding of ML/AI concepts in audio/visual domains
