Job Description

We are seeking an outstanding Software Engineer with strong expertise in .NET Core and .NET Framework. The mission includes migration from .NET Framework to .NET Core, improvement of SQL queries, acceleration of API response time, and collaboration in high-load platforms written in C#. Expertise in distributed cache (Oracle Coherence), low-latency environments, and critical-performance systems is a true plus.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy .NET Core / .NET Framework enhancements;
• Hands-on experience with NuGet packages creation/consumption and dependencies;
• Optimize SQL databases and profile queries tuning the data layer;
• Implement observability (OpenTelemetry, OpenSearch, Prometheus);
• Ensure secure and high-quality code through reviews and automated testing;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide L3 production support when required;
• Use Agile methodologies with Jira and Bitbucket;
• Balance development work against immediate support interruptions;
• Contribute to DevOps pipelines using Jenkins, Ansible Tower, TeamCity.
  
  

Must Have

• 6+ years of professional experience;
• Mastery in C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework;
• Strong MS SQL Server expertise;
• Experience in distributed cache architectures;
• DevOps practices Jenkins, Bitbucket;
• University degree recognized in Portugal;
• Fluent English (C1/C2).

• Microservices, SPA, RESTful APIs, unit/integration tests.
