Product Manager
Help us achieve our goal of becoming the leading global provider of customer acquisition and engagement services within payments! Mastercard is looking for a Product Manager – Technical to join our Marketing Services Technology team to drive the future of Marketing Services as a tech-driven, full-service performance marketing agency. This role supports global media initiatives including next-gen digital diagnostics, MarTech, Ad insight and sales acceleration solutions, and the application of agentic AI. It may also entail optimizing technology crossovers within CA&E. You will leverage your valuable experience in these domains or comparable vendor knowledge to help advise, design, implement, and optimize marketing technology solutions that enable data-driven execution. Your work will play a key role in supporting business growth and improving results for financial institutions, merchants, or acquiring customers. The role bridges consulting, marketing strategy and technical execution, ensuring seamless integration of data, platforms and tools across the marketing ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with other product managers, engineers, architects, and business partners to help define and prioritize product needs.
- Support the development of tools that improve media performance and automate processes for complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Advise on short- and long-term use cases and interoperability for 3rd party software and tools, giving our clients diverse tools to manage and analyze digital advertising.
- Stay up to date on industry best practices and trends to recommend solutions that differentiate Marketing Services and drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to writing clear and actionable requirements and assist in translating business problems into product opportunities.
- Drive adoption of new and existing products with enhancements that increase overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Validate understanding, establish metrics and test cases, and confirm that what is delivered meets the needs of customers. You will contribute with Product to post-launch reviews and drive the associated actions, incorporating customer feedback into solution design and future launch plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as Technical Program Manager or Product Manager with a strong technical foundation.
- Strong digital marketing automation, data flows, marketing technology (MarTech), or AdTech consulting experience or product ownership; Or, related engineering experience designed for payments or other financial services sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Marketing technology, MBA with media specialization or comparable experience.
- Comfortable operating in agile environments using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and similar platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Passionate about customer-centric design and delivering impactful, scalable solutions.
- Experience developing and driving end-to-end execution of initiatives – particularly in a cross-functional environment, managing and prioritizing competing initiatives.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and data visualization platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Tableau, Adobe Experience Manager, Adverity; hands-on experience with internal Mastercard tools and methods from Dynamic Yield or Mastercard IMC tools.
