Job Description

The role involves overseeing risk management and remediation plans related to IT risks, regardless of their origin. It encompasses several key phases:

  • Collection: Ensuring that all action plans are comprehensive and complete.
  • Follow-up: Monitoring the progress of remediation efforts, ensuring adherence to target deadlines, and managing any delays or escalations as needed.
  • Delay Management: In the event of delays, ensuring the renewal of temporary risk acceptances and maintaining transparency with stakeholders.
  • Risk Register Updates: Updating the IT Risk Register upon completion of remediation actions.



The primary focus of this role is on continuous risk monitoring, including the follow-up of previously identified risks and their associated remediation plans. A deep understanding of IT risk management practices is essential. Additionally, assessing risks throughout the project lifecycle requires familiarity with industry-standard risk management frameworks and methodologies, as well as a solid grasp of IT project management processes.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of IT Risk frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 27005)
  • Project Management Reporting (Office based, particularly Excel)
  • Fluent in English and have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Previous experience in IT Risk and Cybersecurity will be highly valued
  • IT Risk & Cybersecurity certifications will be valued ( Fundamentals of Risk assessment
