Overview:

Senior Python Software Engineer wanted to join my client's hardware integration team, focusing on backend Python development. This role involves integrating hardware and software, including both third-party and in-house designs, to develop control logic for these systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write high quality Python code for various hardware platforms, including IoT and embedded systems.
• Collaborate closely with a small, agile team to release high-quality features frequently.
• Refactor and improve existing code for continuous enhancement.
• Communicate effectively in English within a diverse team.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of experience with Python.
• Strong self-sufficiency and teamwork skills.
• Experience developing code for embedded systems.
• Focus on producing high-quality, reliable code.
• Ability to quickly release and iterate on new features.
• Good spoken and written English communication.

Desirable (Bonus) Skills:

• Experience with hardware communication (RS232, RS485, TCP/IP).
• Knowledge of continuous integration and test automation.
• Familiarity with payment technologies, embedded Linux, or computer vision.
• Experience with embedded C and using logic analyzers.
