DevOps Engineer – 12-Month Contract (Geneva)
Project Overview: Join a global private bank undergoing a major modernisation of its eBanking and mobile banking platforms. As part of a strategic initiative to replace legacy systems, enhance architectural components, and deliver a sleek, user-centric interface, we are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support this transformation under a tightly managed timeline.
Location: Geneva, Switzerland, Hybrid +2 days onsite
Contract: 12 months + Extension
Rate: Market Rate
Start Date: ASAP
Industry: Private Banking / Digital Transformation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide DevLAN support across environments, builds, permissions, deployments, and application access.
- Maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps, and Ansible.
- Configure and update monitoring systems (ELK stack: Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats).
- Manage container runtime environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Azure).
- Oversee configuration management and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Maintain and release base container images.
- Administer DevLAN infrastructure components: Keycloak, Atlassian suite, MongoDB, Gravitee, DNS, Kafka, Hazelcast, Nexus, LDAP, Sonar.
- Handle certificate lifecycle and security configurations.
- Provide L2 support for eBanking applications in PreProd.
- Support application releases and pipeline operations in PreProd.
- Contribute to Azure-related tasks (OpenShift, RBAC, ACR, Vault integration, SSDLC pipelines, monitoring and cost management).
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Bamboo, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps, Ansible.
- Proficiency in containerised environments: Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Azure.
- Git expertise: Gitflow, pull requests, release management.
- Monitoring stack: ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats).
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to enterprise banking environments and DevLAN infrastructure.
- Familiarity with security benchmarks and pipeline hardening (CIS, MCSB, SCUBA).
- Experience with Azure OpenShift and cloud-native monitoring.
