As a Network Design & Planning Engineer at Nokia, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our 4G and 5G networks. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Lead network design and planning activities for 4G and 5G networks, including new software releases and feature enhancements.
- Conduct detailed coverage predictions and link budget analyses for indoor and outdoor RF design to meet customer requirements.
- Prepare and manage parameter workbooks, ensuring accurate mapping of features and KPIs from various vendors to Nokia standards.
- Perform capacity analysis and create high-level (HLD) and low-level designs (LLD) to optimize network efficiency.
- Utilize planning tools such as Netact, MantRay, NDE, and 9955 for effective network design implementation.
- Evaluate impacts of software changes on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Present technical data and project updates to customers with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Provide informal guidance and support to team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
You have:
- Hands-on experience in Radio network technologies (2G, 3G, LTE, 5G SA and NSA)
- Proficiency in network design and coverage analysis for indoor and outdoor deployments
- Experience with planning tools: Netact, MantRay, NDE, 9955, and Mapinfo
- Ability to conduct capacity analysis and prepare high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD)
- Experience in delta analysis and mapping KPIs from different vendors
- Strong presentation and customer-facing skills
- Expertise in parameter workbooks and feature design
- A background in project leadership and independent decision-making
