Procurement & Estimation Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Estimation Engineer with a strong background in High Rise Towers & villa’s, MEP, Fit-Out, Furniture, and Joinery projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting tendering and project execution within the UAE market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Procurement Duties:

• Handle end-to-end procurement of High-Rise Towers & villa’s, MEP, fit-out, furniture, and joinery materials, equipment, and services
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors within the UAE
• Prepare and issue RFQs, purchase orders, subcontracts, and follow up on deliveries and lead times
• Maintain and update supplier databases, pricing records, BOQs, and procurement documentation
• Coordinate with project, design, and site teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, project specifications, and contract requirements

Estimation Duties:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for MEP, fit-out, furniture, and joinery works
• Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and material schedules for accurate costing
• Analyse and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, including factory-finished furniture and bespoke joinery
• Assist in tender preparation, budgeting, cost comparison, and cost control
• Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality and design intent

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3+ years of UAE experience in procurement and estimation
• Proven experience in MEP, Fit-Out, Furniture, and Joinery projects
• Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers, manufacturers, materials, finishes, and market pricing
• Proficient in MS Excel, procurement systems, and ERP software
• Strong negotiation, analytical, coordination, and communication skills
