Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Science Manager to lead a high-performing team focused on delivering advanced AI and analytics solutions that create tangible business outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Technical Direction

• Manage and guide a team of data scientists working on ML, GenAI, and analytics projects across diverse business areas.
• Set technical vision and uphold best practices in modeling, experimentation, and reproducibility.
• Combine leadership duties with active technical contributions such as architecture design, peer reviews, and coding.
• Oversee delivery cycles, including sprint planning, scoping, and timeline accountability.
• Monitor progress, resolve obstacles, and ensure timely completion of impactful solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with business and product leaders to align priorities and identify high-value opportunities.
• Convert strategic objectives into actionable projects and ensure proper resourcing.
• Promote data science and AI capabilities, helping stakeholders understand potential applications.

Talent Development

• Mentor and coach team members through feedback, career planning, and technical guidance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development within the data science function.
• Foster an inclusive, innovative, and performance-driven team culture.

Platform & Governance

• Advocate for scalable and sustainable approaches to deploying AI and GenAI solutions in production environments.
• Collaborate on improving workflows, monitoring systems, and documentation standards.
• Contribute to governance practices around model validation, explainability, and compliance.

Ideal Profile

• Demonstrated experience leading data science teams and delivering ML and GenAI-driven solutions.
• Strong hands-on skills in Python, statistical modeling, and algorithm development.
• Ability to balance technical execution with leadership and project management.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and accountability for delivery timelines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience applying ML in production.
