Director of Cybersecurity – Dubai, UAE
Responsibilities
- Own the P&L for the Cyber Security Business Unit across the GCC.
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly business plans, revenue forecasts, and growth strategies.
- Identify emerging market opportunities across enterprise, government, BFSI, and SMB sectors.
- Build and maintain a long-term roadmap for product portfolio expansion.
- Lead and manage the cybersecurity sales team across the Gulf region.
- Define targets, KPIs, incentive structures, and conduct quarterly performance reviews.
- Support sales teams in closing strategic and high-value deals.
- Ensure structured pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with leading cybersecurity vendors based on the portfolio.
- Manage vendor onboarding, business planning, quarterly reviews, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure vendor certifications, training, and enablement for partners and internal teams.
- Negotiate pricing, rebates, MDF, and growth programs with vendors.
- Expand and strengthen the reseller, SI, and MSP ecosystem across the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Egypt.
- Develop channel partner programs, training plans, and incentive schemes.
- Drive pipeline generation through partner events, workshops, and market engagement activities.
- Ensure partners are certified, enabled, and aligned with vendor strategies.
- Engage directly with strategic enterprise customers across government, BFSI, telecom, and large corporates.
- Lead executive-level presentations, proposals, and solution positioning.
- Act as the escalation point for major customer and partner issues.
- Monitor the competitive landscape, pricing trends, and emerging threats and technologies.
- Provide insights on vendor performance, market gaps, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with operations, finance, and marketing teams on forecasting, inventory planning, and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to margin guidelines, credit policies, and operational SLAs.
- Drive cybersecurity marketing initiatives, product launches, and regional events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field; MBA or relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.
- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in the cybersecurity industry in the UAE, including several years in a senior leadership or general management role.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage business operations, and own P&L within a technology or cybersecurity organization.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions, technologies, and industry challenges.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel across the GCC and wider region as required.
