Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our growing team. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various information technology projects from conception to completion. You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners, manage project timelines, and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a solid background in IT project management. You will work closely with stakeholders to set project goals, define project scope, and maintain open communication channels throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the specified requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans ensuring timely delivery of IT solutions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and identify areas for cost optimization.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and project team members.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings to review progress and resolve issues.
  • Ensure project documentation is completed accurately and maintained regularly.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to upper management and stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices and methodologies for optimizing project delivery processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
  • Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
  • Utilize project management software tools to track timelines and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager with at least 5 years in the field.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certification is preferred.
