Role Overview

Seeking a senior-level Infrastructure Specialist to provide technical leadership across data centre operations, network, storage, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure in a mission-critical enterprise environment. The role includes automation, Tier 3 operational support, infrastructure projects, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data centre, network, storage, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure operations
• Deliver automation using PowerShell, Azure Automation, Terraform/Bicep (IaC)
• Manage production operations, change management, and Tier 3 support
• Lead infrastructure assessments, patching, and lifecycle alignment
• Coordinate testing, transition, and operational acceptance of projects
• Ensure infrastructure standards, security compliance, and documentation
• Lead complex initiatives including capacity planning, DR, security, and cost oversight
• Manage vendors and validate operational and project deliverables

Qualifications (Mandatory)

• 10–15+ years enterprise IT infrastructure experience
• 7+ years in senior/lead infrastructure roles covering data centre, network, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms
• Proven experience leading complex infrastructure projects and managing production environments with strict change control
• Extensive hands-on expertise in:
• Enterprise networking: routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, WAN, SD-WAN
• Storage: SAN/NAS, replication, backup, DR, performance tuning
• Virtualization: Hyper-V (Kubernetes knowledge is an asset)
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, automation, monitoring, cost optimization)
• Operating systems: Windows Server and Linux
• Operations: capacity planning, performance, incident/problem management
• Security & resilience: DR/BCP, vulnerability management, patching, access controls

Certifications (Required / Preferred)

• Azure Administrator Associate
• Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
• Terraform Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
• CCNP (or equivalent experience)
• Certified Veeam Engineer
• ITIL v4 (Intermediate or Managing Professional preferred)
