CAN – Agile Product Manager (Advanced) (Contract)

Role Overview
Seeking an Agile Product Manager to own and deliver against a product backlog within a digital solutions environment. This role will work closely with a scrum team and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, translate complex problems into clear user stories, and drive product delivery through strong analysis, alignment, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog in partnership with the scrum team
- Lead problem analysis, solution assessment, and requirements documentation
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements and user stories
- Conduct scope definition, impact analysis, and dependency management
- Influence stakeholders to drive alignment, decisions, and buy-in
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across business, technology, and vendor teams
- Ensure requirements and user stories meet quality standards
- Communicate status, trade-offs, and recommendations using structured reasoning and data
- Contribute to continuous improvement of product management practices
Required Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of product management and business analysis experience in a digital environment
- Strong requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation skills
- Proven ability to translate complex problems into actionable product requirements
- Experience working with Agile teams and managing backlogs
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence (required)
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate independently and drive clarity in ambiguous environments
Nice to Have
- Financial services and/or enterprise platform experience
