Overview
- A leading global asset management organization is seeking an experienced, certified Senior Scrum Master to support agile delivery across its Digital Web Experience portfolio. This role partners closely with Product Owners, engineering teams, and enterprise stakeholders to drive high-quality, continuous delivery of customer-facing digital experiences, with a strong focus on Contentful-powered platforms and related applications.
- Operating within an accelerated delivery model, you will coach teams, optimize agile practices, and ensure initiatives align with strategic business outcomes in a complex FinTech / Global Asset Management environment.
- Core Technical Skills
- Required
- 7+ years in delivery roles, including 5+ years as a Scrum Master in complex digital environments
- Strong expertise in Agile delivery (Scrum and Kanban)
- Deep working knowledge of Agile Standards & Practices, PMLC, and SDLC
- Hands-on expertise with Jira (system of record) and Confluence
- Proven experience managing bi-weekly continuous release cycles
- Agile metrics and reporting expertise (velocity, burndown, throughput, predictability)
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (UX, QA, DevOps, Security, Architecture)
- Strong understanding of global asset management workflows, digital client experiences, and regulatory considerations
- Agile certification (mandatory): CSM®, PSM®, or equivalent
- GTA-based with reasonable commuting distance
- Preferred
- FinTech or Global Asset Management delivery experience
- Exposure to Contentful, modern CI/CD practices, and trunk-based development
- Experience managing Clarity for financials, status reporting, and project logs
- Vendor and extended team coordination experience
- Nice to Have
- PMP®, SAFe®/SASM®, ICP-ACC, or other advanced Agile/PM certifications
- Experience supporting personalization, analytics, APIs, or digital operations
- Key Responsibilities
- Agile & Delivery Leadership
- Serve as Scrum Master for one or more squads, facilitating all agile ceremonies
- Remove impediments, protect teams from external disruptions, and foster a high-trust delivery culture
- Champion continuous improvement, incremental delivery, and feature toggling
- Agile Execution & Governance
- Lead initiative execution using adopted methodologies; inspect and adapt delivery practices
- Act as a trusted delivery advisor to Product Owners and business stakeholders
- Track delivery health using agile metrics and dashboards
- Standards, Controls & Readiness
- Ensure compliance with Agile Standards, PMLC, SDLC, and Mandatory Operational Readiness (MOR) requirements
- Identify delivery risks, manage issues and change requests, and maintain accurate status reporting
- Backlog, Tooling & Stakeholder Engagement
- Own Jira as the system of record for backlog, sprint planning, dependencies, and reporting
- Partner with Product Owners on backlog refinement, prioritization, and definition of ready/done
- Prepare and present delivery insights to senior leadership
- Coach teams and stakeholders on agile best practices; design and deliver workshops as needed
