Position Overview:
- Talented 3D/AR/VR Engineer to join research and development team.
- Design, develop, and implement immersive 3D, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) experiences to support our automotive research, simulation, and human-machine interface initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including AI researchers, software engineers, and product designers, to create state-of-the-art visualization tools and interactive experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality 3D models, AR/VR applications, and interactive simulations to support research and prototyping.
- Implement real-time rendering, physics simulations, and visual effects for immersive experiences.
- Collaborate with AI, robotics, and automotive teams to integrate AR/VR solutions with vehicle data and simulation environments.
- Optimize AR/VR applications for performance, scalability, and usability across multiple platforms (desktop, mobile, and wearable devices).
- Maintain and improve 3D asset pipelines, tools, and workflows.
- Conduct user testing and iterate on designs based on feedback to ensure intuitive and effective experiences.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in 3D graphics, AR, VR, and interactive simulation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Design, or a related field.
- Strong experience with 3D graphics engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of 3D modeling, shading, lighting, and animation techniques.
- Experience developing AR/VR applications for multiple platforms (HoloLens, Oculus, VR/AR headsets, mobile devices).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with AR/VR hardware integration, motion capture, or spatial computing.
- Knowledge of physics-based simulations and haptics for immersive experiences.
- Background in automotive systems, human-machine interfaces, or robotics applications.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in 3D environments.
