- Serve as SCRUM Master for one or more PODs
- Drive effective Agile/SCRUM practices aligned with PCCA’s culture and the regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Facilitate core ceremonies (Planning, Daily Scrum, Refinement, Review, Retro) to ensure clarity, decisions, and measurable improvement.
- Partner with Product Owners to maintain a clear, prioritized backlog tied to business and patient safety outcomes, establishing meaningful sprint goals.
- Utilize AI tools and data to:
- Generate and maintain sprint analytics and flow metrics.
- Identify trends in impediments, bottlenecks, and quality issues.
- Monitor and visualize team workload, WIP, and team health.
- Prepare insights, summaries, and recommendations for Product Owners and leadership.
- Proactively identify and remove organizational, process, or technical impediments.
- Champion continuous improvement, using retrospectives and data to drive concrete changes that unlock capacity, reduce friction, and improve quality.

- Dedicated Scrum Master Experience: Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience serving as a Scrum Master for multiple, diverse software development teams, specifically focusing on coaching the team toward high performance and self-management.
- Prior Team Contribution (Required): Minimum of 2 years of prior, hands-on experience as an active contributing team member (e.g., Developer, QA Analyst, Business Analyst, or Product Owner) before transitioning into the Scrum Master role. This foundational experience is essential to demonstrate practical empathy and a deep understanding of day-to-day team dynamics and technical challenges.
- Certification: Hold at least one active, recognized Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PSM I, or equivalent). Advanced certification (e.g., A-CSM, PSM II) is highly desirable.
- Scaling Experience (Optional but Highly Desirable): Experience working within a scaled Agile environment (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Nexus) or coaching multiple teams working on a single product.
