Our client is a leading managed WordPress hosting platform, empowering businesses with the performance, security, and reliability they need to grow online. Their platform automates the complexities of WordPress site management, helping teams focus on content and user engagement instead of infrastructure.

The team exposes easily consumable, trustworthy metrics and insights that enable customers to rapidly execute safe experiments and make informed decisions.

IF YOU ARE

  • Experienced with Python
  • Strong in Kubernetes (K8s) for managing containerized applications and Docker
  • Experienced in writing and deploying APIs
  • Experienced with Terraform
  • Working with data models and pipelines directly, within a Data Engineering role or similar
  • Familiar with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and other clouds
  • Capable of data warehouse technologies, particularly BigQuery
  • Knowledgeable of Grafana, New Relic, JMeter, Looker, metrics platforms
  • Experienced with CI/CD, build and deployment pipelines, one of: Jenkins, Google Cloudbuilds or similar
  • Having strong SQL debugging skills and query performance optimization knowledge
  • Effective as a team player
  • Capable of communicating in English freely in a multicultural environment
  • Familiar with Go (nice to have)


AND YOU WANT TO

  • Work on building tools for processing large-scale logs and metrics
  • Build and maintain data engineering pipelines
  • Write, test, and maintain software applications that are resilient, robust, and perform at scale for millions of end users
  • Improve test coverage and build deployment pipelines to safely and rapidly push code
  • Look for opportunities to automate and optimize our processes
  • Research new technologies and incorporate them into new and existing systems and products
  • Be a phenomenal teammate to the other members of your agile team by communicating, collaborating, and building a constructive environment
  • Work closely with Product Management to ensure that your frequent, incremental code changes add new value to our customers
