Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilites Include
- Developing, recording, and maintaining cutting-edge web-based PHP applications on portal and premium service platforms.
- Building innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborating with the User Experience (UX) team.
- Ensuring HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript are valid and consistent across applications.
- Preparing and maintaining all applications using standard development tools.
- Utilizing backend data services and contributing to enhancing existing data services APIs.
- Leading the entire web application development life cycle, from the concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
- Refactoring, optimizing, and improving the existing codebase for maintenance and scalability.
- Using test-driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality.
- Interfacing with customers and internal teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions.
- Conveying task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules, and technical or process issues effectively.
- Documenting the development process, architecture, and standard components.
- Coordinating with co-developers and keeping the project manager informed of development status, serving as a liaison between the development team and the project manager.
- Keeping abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.
