We are looking for a Software Engineer to work on a major client project in Australia. The position will be full time.

In this exciting role as a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, design and develop innovative solutions, and ensure the secure, efficient functioning of our systems. You will play a key role in enhancing cloud infrastructure and contributing to the development of big data applications while mentoring peers and maintaining technical excellence.

Description:

• Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
• Modify and improve existing systems.
• Mentor teams in adopting and implementing new cloud technologies and initiatives.
• Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems.
• Ensure the secure and efficient functioning of data storage and processing systems.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• Regularly review existing systems and recommend improvements.
• Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs.
• Assist in deploying cloud-based infrastructures and developing support systems.
• Create cloud migration policies and oversee system migrations.
• Design high-level architecture for applications, ensuring scalability, user-friendliness, and security.
• Automate workflows using Apache Airflow and write data pipelines with Apache Kafka and Java.
• Create data ingress solutions on AWS using various technologies and techniques.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements to systems and participate in rotational on-call support.
• Work on technical architecture design and complex modules while maintaining hands-on product code.

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Computer Applications, or Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Node, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, or similar RDBMS platforms.
• Preferred Azure skills, including ADL, ADF, and ADW.
• Strong data modeling and analytical skills.
• Experience with DevOps tools, Kubernetes, and containerization.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of effectively prioritizing tasks.
• Collaborative mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
