Senior .NET Developer

Liverpool City Centre | Hybrid (2–3 days onsite)

A specialist software company based in Liverpool City Centre is expanding its in-house engineering team and is looking for a Backend Developer to help build and scale modern, data-driven applications.

This is a hands-on role working on high-impact systems, with real ownership and influence over technical decisions.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing and maintaining robust backend applications using .NET 8, .NET Core, and C#
• Designing scalable services within a modern Azure-based architecture
• Working with large, complex datasets across:
• Azure Cosmos DB
• MongoDB
• MySQL
• MS SQL Server
• Building reusable internal libraries to improve consistency and maintainability
• Contributing to advanced backend projects including distributed systems, messaging, and data-heavy workflows

What we’re looking for

• Strong commercial experience with C# and modern .NET
• Proven background working with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience handling large datasets and performance-sensitive systems
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, in-house engineering team
• Azure experience is highly desirable
