Software Engineer (Golang/TypeScript/Python) | Remote Australia | Payments Compliance & Greenfield Projects

We are looking for a highly autonomous and experienced engineer to join their small, tech-focused team. This is a 100% remote role within Australia (East Coast preferred), and full working rights in Australia are essential.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Driving the design and delivery of Greenfield projects (like our new pure web-based AI integrated solution) while also enhancing and maintaining our core products.
• Working across our stack: approximately 70% Back-end (Golang, Python, AWS Services) and 30% Front-end (TypeScript).
• Taking full ownership of tasks, understanding the end-to-end impact of your work on upstream and downstream systems.
• Focusing on the three pillars of their engineering: Security, Reliability, and Performance. (They are proud to say they haven't had an outage in 7 years!)

Your Profile:

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in Golang, TypeScript, Python, and AWS Services.
• Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• A strong sense of proactivity and the ability to move projects forward even with unknowns, ensuring assumptions are raised and validated.

• Nice to have: Experience with PCI DSS/Payments or the Django framework.
