Leaders IT is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our award-winning Capacity Uplift Program. This is a unique opportunity for recent graduates or career-transitioning professionals to gain hands-on experience, receive industry-recognised training, and develop a strong foundation in Business Reporting and Data Analytics.
About the role
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be part of the Business Reporting & Analytics (BR&A) team, supporting data-driven decision-making, reporting, and stakeholder insights. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early-career analyst to gain hands-on BI experience in a collaborative, supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
• Monitor, triage, and update service-desk requests, escalating blockers as needed
• Refresh and validate reports and dashboards in Power BI, Excel, and Tableau
• Support Power BI development: build visuals, write basic DAX, assist with UAT
• Capture stakeholder reporting requirements and translate them into actionable specifications
• Work closely with Senior Analysts to maintain BI standards and contribute to process improvements
Skills & Experience
• 1–2 years’ experience in data, reporting, or BI (internships/projects welcome)
• Exposure to Power BI, Excel, Tableau; basic SQL desirable
• Strong attention to detail, data validation skills, and ability to document work
• Clear communication and collaborative approach
• Tertiary qualification in Data/Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or related field
