About The Role

We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer to lead the development of secure, scalable, and user-friendly native iOS applications for digital banking and payments. You will be responsible for building mobile solutions that deliver seamless financial and transactional experiences, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain native iOS apps using Swift/Objective-C.
  • Build and integrate digital payments features (card processing, mobile wallets, peer-to-peer transfers).
  • Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality banking and payments solutions.
  • Implement secure coding practices, encryption, and compliance with financial regulations (PCI DSS).
  • Optimize app performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Stay current with iOS frameworks, Apple guidelines, and fintech innovations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in native iOS app development.
  • Proven track record in digital banking and payments applications.
  • Strong expertise in Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, Cocoa Touch, UIKit, Core Data.
  • Experience with payment gateways, tokenization, NFC, Apple Pay, and secure transaction flows.
  • Knowledge of security protocols, authentication (OAuth2, biometrics), and PCI compliance.
  • Solid understanding of Socket.io, RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and App Store deployment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Note: This is a full-time position with a standard Monday to Friday schedule, aligned with the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.

The salary for this role is 3500 USD per month, under a consulting contract. The engagement will start as a three-month contract, with the possibility of extending it to six months, based on performance and project needs.
