Responsibilities: 


  • Design, implement, and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems. 
  • Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability, availability, and security of all IT systems. 
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime. 
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide technical support to users. 
  • Manage virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure). 
  • Configure and maintain network services such as DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and load balancers. 
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with security policies. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement IT projects. 
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and policies for future reference. 


Technical Skills Required: 


  • Expertise in operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, Unix). 
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.). 
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM). 
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). 
  • Hands-on experience with firewall configuration, routers, and switches (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet). 
  • Knowledge of storage systems (SAN, NAS) and backup solutions (Veeam, CommVault). 
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python). 
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix). 
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and group policy management. 
  • Understanding of security practices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
