Freelance Project Manager - Logistics Real Estate

Location: France (hybrid setting with site visits across France)

Type of employment: Freelance

Duration: 1 year + extension possibilities

We are seeking a seasoned Freelance Project Manager with a strong background in construction, civil engineering, or mechanical engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects related to automated warehouses, logistics facilities, relocations, and site extensions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage various aspects of logistics and engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and risk management strategies.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Manage project budgets and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project execution is aligned with design specifications and quality standards.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• PM certificate and proficiency in PM software tools
• Proven experience in project management within the logistics or engineering industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing automated warehouse or logistics facility projects.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• French and English proficiency.

Other requirements:

• EU-based residency.
• Willingness to travel within the EU approximately 25% of the time.
