Full-Stack AI Engineer (Contract – 12 Months)

GemPool Recruitment is hiring an experienced Full-Stack AI Engineer for a 12-month contract role based in Dublin (hybrid working).
This is a hands-on role combining AI-driven application development with training, enablement, and product support. You’ll work on production-grade GenAI solutions while helping teams adopt and scale AI capabilities across the organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and maintain production-grade AI applications
- Work with LLMs, agent-based workflows, and RAG pipelines
- Develop full-stack features using Python and React
- Design and integrate APIs and real-time interfaces
- Deliver technical training and support knowledge transfer
- Support and troubleshoot live production systems
Requirements
- 5+ years’ software engineering experience
- 2+ years building AI/ML systems in production
- Strong AWS experience
- Comfortable working independently as a contractor
- Clear communicator with strong documentation skills
