Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our Fire Protection team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will support the data analytics team in managing, organizing, and transforming data into valuable insights that drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the data analytics team with data collection, cleaning, and analysis tasks.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to support automated and accurate reporting.
- Manage and optimize data structures, databases, and data warehouses used across departments.
- Support the creation and maintenance of new databases to accommodate project and operational data.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards for business performance monitoring.
- Document data processes and workflows to ensure data integrity and reproducibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and database management.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and eager to learn within a fast-paced construction environment.
- Experience or internship in data analytics or database management.
- Knowledge of ETL tools or cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google BigQuery).
