The newly formed SRE team which hails from observability with a slight hint of devops is expanding and we are looking for talented, eager to learn people to join us!

YOU WILL:

• Work closely with the SRE Team to enhance the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure.
• Collaborate with software engineering, data operations, and devops teams to implement and maintain best practices in infrastructure automation, monitoring, and incident response.
• Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance, reliability, and resource utilization.
• Automate manual tasks and develop scripts/tools for deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and test environments.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with the team every 5th week
• Ensure compliance with ITIL standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SRE and DevOps.

IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience in working as Monitoring/Observability/Devops engineer in the past
• Aptitude with AWS, heterogenous environment – both windows and linux
• Knowledge of infra automation tools just like Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform
• Knowledge of main cloud providers, like AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with Monitoring and Observability platforms, like Datadog, ELK
• Basics of microservices, containers and CI/CD concepts
• Additional dabbling in python, bash or powershell would be a great advantage
• ITIL and/or MSSQL knowledge is good to have.
