We are looking for a Data Engineer Expert to join a dynamic team and contribute to strategic Business Intelligence and data management projects on Microsoft Azure. You will analyze, design, implement, and secure data solutions for process-driven applications, ensuring compliance with best practices in data governance and security.

This position is a onsite contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion, storage, and processing pipelines in Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Stream Analytics).
• Develop and maintain BI models and dashboards using Power BI (DAX, M).
• Draft and review technical and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with technical teams, developers, and non-technical stakeholders to ensure data quality and security.
• Provide technical support and recommendations for continuous improvement of data systems.

Profile

• Experience: Minimum 10 years in IT, including 8 years in Business Intelligence and 5 years on Microsoft Azure.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Science or related field.
• Languages: Fluent English (C1 minimum).
• Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipeline, Azure Data Lake, Apache Spark Pools
• Databases: MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift
• Power BI (DAX, M) and ETL (SSIS, SSAS)
• Programming: SQL, Python
