We are looking for a Freelance Business Data Analyst to our client

Contract | Full-time (40 hours/week)

Rate: €80 per hour

Start: ASAP – End: May 2026


About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data / Business Analyst to support a large-scale finance transformation initiative. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring business requirements are clearly understood, documented, and translated into actionable specifications.


You will work closely with finance, IT, and product teams to analyze processes, improve workflows, and support data and reporting solutions within an enterprise environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business processes and workflows across finance-related domains
  • Gather, clarify, and translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to align business and IT perspectives
  • Create process maps, use cases, and data flow diagrams
  • Support product managers with scoping, prioritization, and delivery planning
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and reporting capabilities


Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in enterprise or finance environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
  • Excellent documentation skills, including visual process and data artifacts
  • Structured, analytical thinking with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, transformation-focused environment


Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAP environments (e.g. S/4HANA, CDS views, or similar)
  • Background in compliance, governance, or SOX-related initiatives
  • Familiarity with process analysis and improvement methodologies
