Senior Chatbot Specialist - Project Manager (Contract)
12-month contract
Up to €75 per hour
Hybrid Working – Amsterdam (2 days onsite)
Digital Skills are pleased to be partnering with a global travel company in their search for a Senior Chatbot Specialist. You’ll own and optimise the day-to-day operations of its enterprise chatbot platform. This role sits within the Digital Platform / Partner Experience function and focuses on improving conversational experiences through performance optimisation, content management, governance, and the effective use of Generative AI.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on operator with deep experience managing high-volume chatbots, leveraging GenAI in production environments, and ensuring strong quality, compliance, and reliability standards.
What you’ll do
- Own day-to-day chatbot operations on a third-party platform
- Optimise chatbot content, dialogue flows, buttons, and fallback messages
- Train and improve AI responses by auditing conversations and leveraging internal knowledge bases
- Monitor KPIs and dashboards to drive performance and reliability improvements
- Enforce AI governance, quality controls, and regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR, EU AI principles)
- Work closely with product, content, QA, and vendors to deliver improvements
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years’ experience managing high-volume enterprise chatbots
- Hands-on experience with GenAI in production (RAG, prompt engineering, output filtering)
- Strong customer-centric and analytical mindset
- Comfortable working with metrics, dashboards, and experimentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Stable chatbot operations with regular health checks and timely issue resolution.
- Measurable improvements in user feedback, satisfaction, and key automation KPIs.
- Reduced friction in high-impact user journeys and demonstrable quality controls for GenAI responses.
