About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Network Engineer to join our IT/Network team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Install, configure, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
2) Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime.
3) Perform advanced network troubleshooting for escalated incidents from Level 1 support.
4) Implement network security policies, access control, and VLAN segmentation.
5) Maintain documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and processes.
6) Collaborate with cross-functional teams for network upgrades, deployments, and migrations.
7) Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.
8) Support VPNs, remote access solutions, and cloud networking integration.
9) Assist with network capacity planning and performance optimization.
Required Skills & Experience:
1) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2) 3–5 years of experience in network administration or engineering.
3) Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
4) Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network equipment.
5) Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security solutions.
6) Familiarity with wireless network design and troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, access points).
7) Ability to read and create network diagrams and documentation.
8) Experience with monitoring tools and network performance analysis.
Preferred / Nice to Have:
1) CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications.
2) Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
3) Experience with scripting for network automation (Python, PowerShell).
4) ITIL knowledge or service management experience.
