On a given day, a Scrum Master will:
- Guide, coach, and train teams in Scrum methodologies and Agile principles, fostering continuous process improvement.
- Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies and support effective backlog management, including story identification, prioritization, and completion.
- Proactively identify, remove, and escalate impediments through peer networks (e.g., Scrum of Scrums) and formal escalation channels.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage scope, coordinate releases, handle scope changes, and manage risks and issues.
- Coordinate across distributed teams and stakeholders to support multiple fast-paced projects and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Ensure accurate documentation, tracking, and reporting of Agile metrics, including progress, risks, resource utilization, testing, and mitigation plans
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Exposure to scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS).
- Background in software development or QA.
