The role
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who is responsible for designing clear, consistent, and intuitive interfaces for our products (mobile apps, patient website and professional website). You care deeply about well-crafted products, notice small details, and believe that great user experiences are built through thoughtful, continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on role with real impact on how users experience OneDoc every day.
Position overview:
- Contract type: Permanent
- Employment type: Full-time (100%)
- Location: Geneva / Lausanne
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Work model: Hybrid (3 days on-site / 2 days remote)
Key missions
- ๐จ Design and refine user interfaces and experiences: You will work closely with the Product Manager to turn functional specifications into clear, elegant user flows and interfaces that delight users.
- ๐ก Identify and propose improvements: You will proactively spot UI/UX opportunities and suggest better solutions, even beyond the initial specifications.
- ๐๏ธ Create high-quality designs: You will design intuitive, efficient, and visually appealing UI/UX for our products, prioritizing simplicity, usability, and consistency.
- ๐ Iterate and enhance continuously: You will refine existing experiences through frequent, incremental design updates rather than occasional large-scale redesigns.
- ๐ Follow best practices and modern standards: You will ensure all designs adhere to UX best practices and evolve in line with current design trends.
- ๐จ Maintain OneDocโs visual language: You will preserve and evolve our visual language across applications, including components, patterns, and interactions.
- ๐๏ธ Design detailed visual elements: You will create or refine icons and other visual elements as needed, ensuring visual coherence and attention to detail.
- ๐ ๏ธ Support seamless implementation: You will prepare clear, practical design handoffs for developers and collaborate during implementation to ensure design quality is maintained.
Your profile
You can be our next UI/UX Designer if:
- You have degree Design, UI/UX, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably on SaaS or web applications
- You have strong UX fundamentals: information architecture, interaction design, usability best practices
- You have excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of layout, typography, spacing, and hierarchy
- You are able to design icons and custom visual elements when needed, and comfortable with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator required, others a plus)
- You have working proficiency in English
It would be amazing that:
- You are proficient with Figma (components, auto-layout, variants, libraries)
- You speak French and/or German
- You have high attention to detail and a strong sensitivity to โnice thingsโ and polished interfaces
What will make a difference:
- We feel that you have the ability to prepare clean, usable assets for developer handoff
- You have hands-on experience working with and maintaining a design system.
- You show great interpersonal skills and are able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
Note: this position is based out of Geneva or Lausanne Switzerland, and only applicants with a valid work permit will be considered.
