As a Product Designer for Online Services, you’ll shape how players experience Paradox beyond the game - through products like Paradox Launcher and Paradox Mods. You’ll design interfaces and systems that help players discover content, stay connected, and feel part of a living Paradox ecosystem.
This is a hands-on role combining creative problem-solving, visual design, and user experience strategy. You’ll move between discovery and delivery - exploring player needs, testing ideas, building prototypes, and refining details that make complex systems feel simple, valuable, and joyful.
What you’ll do
- Design, prototype, and deliver player experiences across Online Services products, primarily Paradox Launcher and Paradox Mods.
- Work hands-on in Figma, creating user flows, wireframes, and polished interfaces ready for implementation.
- Collaborate closely with developers and QA to refine designs through iteration and testing.
- Partner with other designers to extend and align the shared Paradox design system.
- Translate player insights and data into clear design hypotheses and tangible improvements.
- Present design rationale to stakeholders and connect user experience to business and player value.
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in product or UX/UI design, ideally for gaming platforms.
- A strong visual portfolio showing hands-on design work – from early exploration to detailed, production-ready design.
- Solid UX and interaction design skills; attention to visual clarity and usability.
- Proficiency in Figma and comfort working within design systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- A passion for games, players, and community-driven experiences; familiarity with playing modded games is a strong plus.
You’re a curious, empathetic designer who thrives in cross-disciplinary environments. You enjoy turning complexity into clarity, pairing creativity with evidence, and seeing your work make a real difference for players. You’re collaborative and low-ego, eager to learn from engineers, producers, and players alike.
You believe good design is never just about pixels - it’s about understanding people, systems, and long-term player value.
What you’ll get
- A values-driven culture that prizes empathy, curiosity, collaboration, and ownership.
- A creative, AI-friendly environment where new design tools and workflows are explored to support, not replace, the craft of design.
- A mission that matters - helping millions of players connect with Paradox’s worlds through design that’s functional, intuitive, and full of personality.
- The opportunity to set the design foundation for how Paradox builds player-facing services for years to come.
