Imagine playing an essential role as Scrum Master within the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Area at Rabobank, thus contributing to the bank's always on, secure and compliant IT-infrastructure Make a difference by managing squads in the IaC, maintaining relationships with your main stakeholders and work well with our suppliers.
You & Your Function
As Scrum Master for three squads in the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Area, you enable teams to work effectively, autonomously and in a psychologically safe environment. You help them grow in maturity, remove obstacles, strengthen collaboration, and ensure they continuously deliver value. You are a key partner for the Product Owners, Tech Leads, Solution Architect and Area Leadership Team. You coach both teams and individuals, support the Agile process, and help the squads move toward a higher level of performance and self-organization.
- Enable teams to work effectively and independently by applying the principle “culture follows structure”.
- Facilitate a work environment where teams have the clarity, structure and resources needed to meet their objectives. Result: Teams can focus on delivery and feel empowered to own their work.
- Guide the teams in using Agile rituals (daily scrums, planning, refinement, retrospectives) and ensure they apply the right methods for the right situation. Result: Scrum ceremonies contribute to strong collaboration and effective execution.
- Measure and monitor the maturity of each squad; help teams understand what the next level looks like and support them in growing toward it. Result: Teams are continuously stimulated to develop to a higher, more professional level.
- Identify obstacles across the organization, bring them forward for discussion, and help teams remove them independently where possible.
- Ensure priorities are understood and adopted throughout all layers of the organization. Result: Obstacles are addressed in a timely manner and teams maintain focus on what matters.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and guide teams in optimizing their processes, workflow and quality mindset. Result: Continuous improvement becomes part of the team culture.
- Provide coaching on Agile, collaboration, communication and problem solving.
- Transfer knowledge and support other Scrum Masters and coaches to strengthen expertise inside the Area. Result: The organization develops strong internal capabilities and consistent ways of working.

You & Your Talent
- At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a complex, multi-team IT environment.
- Skilled in Agile/Scrum, Kanban, and continuous improvement.
- Strong coaching mindset and ability to facilitate team growth and maturity.
- Able to simplify complexity, create structure, and bring teams along through change.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (engineers, POs, leadership, vendors).
- Comfortable addressing conflict, guiding difficult conversations, and helping teams overcome resistance.
- Understanding of the regulatory and security context in banking is a plus.
