We are working with a leading global bank that is managing a large-scale transformation across its core business and digital platforms. For their growth plans, the bank is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead strategic and cross-functional initiatives across multiple domains.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing the bank’s strategic and domain-based projects — ensuring coordination between business and IT, maintaining governance standards, and driving delivery excellence.

This role requires a professional who can balance structure with agility — someone comfortable managing traditional Waterfall projects while also operating effectively within Agile environments.

PS: Banking background is a must for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles across multiple domains including Digital Banking, Investment Products, Corporate Solutions, Operations, and Compliance.
• Ensure all projects progress in line with SDLC principles, overseeing requirement collection, prioritization, delivery, testing, and implementation.
• Maintain a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical delivery.
• Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, daily updates) and coordinate communication between business and IT stakeholders.
• Track and report project performance metrics, manage budgets, and ensure governance compliance.
• Facilitate quarterly business reviews and support business units in aligning their project portfolios with strategic objectives.
• Monitor capacity and resource utilization across projects, ensuring effective allocation.
• Oversee change management processes, transition planning, and risk escalation to senior management when necessary.
• Maintain strong alignment with executive leadership and ensure transparent stakeholder communication throughout all project phases.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematical Engineering, or related fields.
• 10+ years of professional experience in Project Management within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, coordinate multiple workstreams, and engage with diverse stakeholders.
• PMP or Prince2 certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in governance, budgeting, and reporting.
