We are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst to lead IT operations and support a front-to-back energy trading business. This role sits at the intersection of IT service management, application ownership, and business engagement, with a strong focus on trading systems and vendor management.

Role Overview:

You will oversee IT operations and development teams to ensure high-quality, reliable delivery of technology solutions for the trading business. The role includes ownership of IT service management processes, application performance, external vendors, and close collaboration with business stakeholders across front, middle, and back office.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage IT Service Management processes, including ticket monitoring, service improvements, reporting, and performance analysis.
• Lead and manage external system integrators and application support vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Act as a key interface between IT and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into effective technology solutions.
• Provide application ownership for Endur, with strong understanding of its architecture, data model, and core modules across front, middle, and back office.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams on environments, deployments, patches, server maintenance, and test environment refreshes.
• Assess change requests, define solution approaches, and produce clear functional and technical specifications.
• Plan, coordinate, and control UAT activities in close collaboration with business users and IT stakeholders.
• Support front-to-back energy trading processes, ideally within crude oil and refined products.

Requirements:

Education

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Applied Science, or equivalent.

Experience & Skills

• 10+ years’ experience in IT, with a strong background in IT Service Management.
• Proven experience managing IT vendors and system integrators for application management.
• Strong knowledge of Endur and energy trading systems.
• Solid understanding of crude oil and refined products trading processes.
• Experience acting as a Business Analyst across design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to manage change effectively.
• Experience or interest in reporting and analytics using BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Qlik).
