We’re growing our R&D team and looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) who wants to build innovative software that makes global shipping safer, smarter, and more sustainable.

Role Overview

As a Software Developer at NACOS Marine, you’ll work on mission-critical systems like ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems), radar integration, and navigation sensor interfaces. Your code will literally help guide ships across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software for integrated navigation and automation systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions
  • Participate in agile development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to radar integration projects and advanced navigation functionality

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong skills in object-oriented programming, like C# or C++
  • Familiarity with radar systems, navigation tech, or signal processing is a big plus
  • Experience with agile tools (Azure DevOps, Jira) and Windows-based systems
  • Knowledge of advanced network systems is an advantage
  • Security clearance eligibility (per Norwegian NSM regulations)
  • Fluent in English, curious, and eager to learn new technologies
