BI Data Analyst

𝐖𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝘁–𝐄‑𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Dubai, UAE (On-site, Full-Time)

METRO BRAZIL is seeking a strategic and data-driven Business Intelligence Analyst to drive performance visibility, analytics, and decision-making across our e-commerce business. This role requires strong experience in BI reporting, commercial analytics, and demand planning support, and offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a fast-growing brand.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

• Build, maintain, and automate dashboards and reporting across key e-commerce KPIs including revenue, margin, conversion, traffic, and product performance
• Conduct deep dives into performance drivers such as pricing, promotions, bundles, merchandising, and media campaigns
• Analyze customer behavior and provide insights on new vs returning customers, cohort performance, and retention trends
• Support monthly forecasting cycles and provide demand planning insights, including historical trends, promotional uplift, and stock constraints
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Commercial teams to align forecast assumptions with business plans
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and actionable insights for business decisions
• Support performance reviews with concise commentary and recommendations

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar
• 3–5 years of experience in BI/analytics in e-commerce, retail, or FMCG
• Strong business mindset, able to connect metrics to commercial decisions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage

𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀:

• Power BI (preferred) – dashboards, data modeling, DAX
• Advanced Excel – Power Query, pivot tables, large datasets
• SQL (preferred) – querying and validation
• Familiarity with e-commerce tools/platforms such as Shopify, GA4, Looker is a plus
• Experience with forecasting/planning tools is a plus
