Job Title - Security Analyst
Period – 6 months Contract
Location - Toronto, ON (3 days onsite)
Overview:
The Security Analyst III will join the Information Risk team within Group Functions IT (First Line of Defense). The role focuses on risk-based security assessments for new technologies, including cloud and generative AI, and maintaining governance frameworks aligned with information security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform information risk assessments for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and generative AI solutions
• Identify risks, define security controls, and track remediation
• Develop and support governance frameworks for cloud and AI technologies
• Collaborate with architecture, project, and BC/DR teams
• Advise stakeholders on security risks and impacts
• Support operational security activities (incident response, vulnerability management, firewall reviews)
• Assist with audits, regulatory reviews, and risk assessments
• Stay current on emerging AI and security threats
Candidate Requirements / Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years in Information Risk Management, IT audit, or IT controls assessment
- Experience across multiple security domains (cloud, network, application, IAM, vulnerability management, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Familiarity with security and regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX, EU AI Act)
