We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful delivery of engagements with partners and clients, ensuring outcomes are met across scope, time, quality, and budget. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage complex technology initiatives, coordinating across internal teams (engineering, product, technology, marketing, finance) and external stakeholders (clients and technology partners).

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all assigned projects and associated deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholder teams to assess business and implementation risks, guide technical integrations, support problem-solving, and manage internal resources to resolve project issues.
• Ensure the development and delivery of engagement plans, reports, documentation, training materials, and overall solutions in line with contractual commitments.
• Enable successful delivery by proactively identifying and removing impediments that impact team performance.
• Lead strategic partner and enablement vendor due diligence initiatives.
• Act as a primary liaison between project teams and internal stakeholders to onboard, integrate, and launch new products in collaboration with strategic partners.
• Serve as a key facilitator and delivery contributor for RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses.
• Where required, act as a SCRUM Master, ensuring lean and efficient development cycles.
• Review and reconcile project financials, providing metrics and updates as needed.
• Mentor and coach members of the project management team.
• Support annual SOC 2 and PCI DSS audits as a key facilitator and contributor.
• Own and guide the design, documentation, and implementation of project management SOPs aligned with business needs.
• Establish processes, procedures, and best practices that promote an agile, nimble, and collaborative delivery environment.
• Champion adoption of SOPs by providing guidance and hands-on support to internal teams.
• Facilitate proactive and effective communication between internal and external project stakeholders.
• Identify, escalate, and help resolve project-related issues, including change, release, and risk management.
• Establish and operate project steering committees when required.
• Provide timely and accurate project status, budget, and risk reporting to senior leadership.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience managing complex projects within a SaaS environment.
• Experience managing projects in the payments or fintech industry is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial services compliance, risk, and regulatory frameworks; familiarity with SOC 2 and PCI DSS is an asset.
• Experience working in both fast-paced startup environments and more established corporate settings.
• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies with the ability to tailor approaches to the environment.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools and platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, APIs, and integrations.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
