About the Role

Skyline Recruitment is representing a well-established construction firm with a strong presence across Western Canada. Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale wood-frame residential project valued at $50M+.


This role is suited to an experienced construction professional who is comfortable managing complex builds, leading project teams, and maintaining strong control over schedule, cost, and stakeholder expectations. You will work closely with executive leadership, site teams, and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.


What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Full oversight of project delivery from early planning through final turnover.
  • Managing project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and financial performance.
  • Coordinating with superintendents, consultants, trades, and suppliers.
  • Administering contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and procurement activities.
  • Leading tendering, trade negotiations, and major purchase decisions.
  • Monitoring construction progress and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Overseeing progress billings, payment approvals, and cost reporting.
  • Managing close-out activities including deficiencies, warranties, and documentation.
  • Supporting client relations and contributing to proposal or interview processes.
  • Providing leadership, mentorship, and direction to project team members.


What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of construction project management experience with wood-frame residential projects.
  • Proven ability to manage large, multi-family builds in a GC or construction management environment.
  • Post-secondary education in construction, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, cost control, and construction sequencing.
  • Experience using project management software such as Procore and scheduling tools.
  • Confident communicator with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized, commercially aware, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
